Known as the location a certain Milwaukee cannibal enjoyed a drink or two; the U-Pub went a long way to change its reputation in the late 90s. Located in the Ambassador hotel just west of campus on Wisconsin, the U-Pub was a great location to see some local bands on the weekends, hang out with the bands who played at The Rave that night and, best of all, get 12oz taps of Miller products for a quarter on Wednesday nights. A limo ride and 5 bucks got you as drunk as you wanted to be, you just had to be ready to miss Thursday morning classes.
