====== Marquette Sets Records, Beats Grambling 105-74 ====== MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Grambling had no answer for Robert Jackson and Dwyane Wade. Jackson scored a season-high 26 points and Wade added 23 as 12th-ranked Marquette pulled away from the Tigers in the second half en route to a 105-74 triumph. The Golden Eagles (8-1) led, 55-47, before Wade nailed a 3-pointer one minute into the second half to commence a 24-2 burst. Jackson, who had 11 points during the run, gave the Golden Eagles a 79-49 advantage with a hook shot with 14 1/2 minutes to go, and they cruised thereafter to their 23rd straight home triumph. Todd Townsend added a career-high 16 points and Travis Diener 12 for Marquette, which opens Conference USA play Monday at East Carolina. Jackson made 12-of-17 shots, Wade 7-of-10 and Townsend 6-of-8 as the Golden Eagles connected on 65 percent of their attempts (39-of-60). They held the Tigers to just 41 percent (29-of-71). Wade is averaging 27 points and shooting 67 percent over his last four games. Paul Haynes scored 21 points to lead Grambling (3-7), which suffered its fourth straight defeat. Brion Rush chipped in 17 points and Jamar Lewis 13 in the loss. The Golden Eagles outscored the Tigers in the paint, 52-16, and held a 34-14 advantage in fast-break points. Marquette also dominated the glass, outrebounding Grambling, 45-26, and making 20 free throws to the Tigers' five. Marquette tied its highest point total at the Bradley Center, matching its output in a 40-point win over Delaware State on January 20, 1993.
