“I was a first-grader and Jimmy would come over and play basketball at my house,” Fulce said. “Everyone knew who Jimmy King was. I sat on Juwan Howard's lap. Jimmy always said I was going to be something special.”

Marquette Career

Was the second member of Marquette's four player 2008-09 recruiting class to verbally commit on Ocotber 18, 2007. Originally signed with Texas A&M - where current Marquette assistant coach, Buzz Williams, was an assistant coach - but grades forced him to enroll at Massanutten. After being recruited by Coach Williams, the then-New Orleans head coach, he signed a letter-of-intent to play at UNO. When Coach Williams left for Marquette, Fulce was allowed to be released from his LOI by UNO and eventually enrolled at Tyler Junior College in Texas. He will have three years of eligibility at Marquette.

Selected Marquette. As a high school senior, he received his only offer from Texas A&M despite receiving interest from Colorado and SMU. As a fifth-year senior, he received offers from New Orleans and North Texas, while Illinois, Maryland, Providence, Texas A&M, and George Mason expressed interest in him.

High School Career

Sophomore 2003-04: 8.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. He was termed 'Gumby' for his wingspan and length as a sophomore.

Junior 2004-05: Posted season averages of 18.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.

Senior 2005-06: Was a 5A first-team All-State pick for Plano High School in 2006. Fulce led Plano to the 5A state championship in Texas and averaged 15 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.

High School evaluation from Dallas Preps: Fulce is not just leading his team in scoring, he is also leading his team with solid rebounding. The 6'5” long wing-forward has showed the ability to play outside and inside. Fulce is a player that can give most teams a match up problem with his ability to take most team's post out to the wing and square them to the basket. He also has shown the ability to post team's smaller guards up with his size at the wing position.
