Mike Rice

Prior to Marquette

Rice was a four year letter winner and three year starter at Fordham from 1987-1991. After his playing career was over he joined the Fordham staff as a graduate assistant.

At Marquette

Rice joined Mike Deane's inaugural staff as the third assistant in 1994. He stayed on Mike Deane's staff until 1997 when he was replaced by Brian Bidlingmyer.

After Marquette

Since leaving Marquette, Rice was an assistant coach at Niagara University, Chicago State University(under MU great Bo Ellis), St. Joseph's University and the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, from 2001-2004 he was Director of the Hoop Group Eastern Invitational Basketball Camp. In 2007 he was named the head coach at Robert Morris University.
