  * Howard played at Marquette for only one season, 2001-02 - his freshman year - as a reserve.
  * He was one of five recruits signed during the 2000-01 season. The others were [[Travis Diener]], [[Kevin Menard]], [[Todd Townsend]], and transfer [[Robert Jackson]].
  * Along with sophomore [[Odartey Blankson]] and fellow freshman [[Kevin Menard]], Howard transferred out of Marquette. He eventually signed with Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
