Chief White Buck 1954-1960
Chief White Buck, Marquette University mascot, 1954-1960.
Marquette University adopted the “Warriors” nickname in 1954. Patrick Buckett, a Marquette student and dedicated Indian hobbyist, played the University's first mascot, clad in a combination of Plains and Woodland Indian garments.
