Strzalka was called into mascoting due to the lack of an official mascot. It was unknown why Marquette had not developed a mascot for the 2006-2007 seasons, but people often blame the cheerleading squad. The lack of an official mascot also led to the introduction of [[Andrew Hess]].

Strzalka's career started with what became his speciality, private parties. Before performing at any Marquette atheltics events, Strzalka had appearances at various weddings, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs & sweet sixteens.
