Brian was also drafted by the Los Angeles Stars in the 12th round of the 1968 ABA draft and appeared in three games for them during the 1968-69 season. ===== Trivia ===== Brunkhorst is an avid collector of classic cars. He has owned and raced several historically significant automobiles, including Bugattis, Ferraris, and Alfa Romeos. Some of his cars have even been shown at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Brian and his brother Buck owned the Gym for several years.
