-Doc was drafted in the second round of the 1983 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He played his first 8 seasons with the Hawks before having stints with the Clippers, Knicks and Spurs. Doc averaged 10.9 points, 5.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds a game in his 13 NBA seasons. Of his 13 seasons Doc advanced to the playoffs in 10 of them.
