+After leaving Marquette, Boylan played professionally overseas before getting into coaching in both the college and professional ranks.  He became the interim head coach of the Chicago Bulls after Scott Skiles was fired in December of 2007.  When Skiles was hired to coach the Milwaukee Bucks in 2008, he brought Boylan along as an assistant coach.
