ESPN February, 2009: Irving has very good quickness and can get to the rim with very little difficulty when he works off the dribble. When Irving gets to the paint, he can finish with his off hand (left hand) very well and has good body control, which allows him to adjust in the air and still finish when big post defenders attempt to block his shot. Irving will connect on jumpers with range that extends out to the 3-point line and has a nice efficient release, which allows him to get shots off from distance very quickly. He also does a good job of pressuring opposing ball-handlers when he has to play defense. (Provided By Scout, Inc.)
