 Amplo comes to Marquette with 11 years of collegiate coaching experience, 10 of which have come at his alma mater and current employer, Hofstra University. He is currently in his third year as associate head coach with the Pride, where he serves as the team's defensive coordinator.

+Amplo graduated from Hofstra in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in geography and earned a master's degree from the University in college student counseling. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Babylon, N.Y., and have two daughters, Sophia (5) and Charlotte (2).
