The Dodge City Legend's inaugural season started with the awarding of the franchise to Dodge City on January 19, winning their first home game on April 25, and ended with a USBL Championship on July 2. Moore only appeared in six games.
The 2001 season saw the Dodge City Legend return to the USBL Championship game, only to fall to the Darryl Dawkins coached Pennsylvania Valleydawgs. Moore would appear in only three games.
