Averaged 28.5 points, 15.4 rebounds, 6.3 blocked shots and 4.0 steals a game in 1993-94 … Led Sandwich Secondary to the Division 2 provisional championship in 1994 … Sandwich was 40-5 on the season … Shaw earned all-tournament team honors five times during the 1993-94 season … Four-time team MVP at Sandwich … Was a three-year starter at Sandwich … A two-time all-conference first-team selection … Sandwich's Athlete of the Year in 1994 … Coached by Mike Gloster at Sandwich Secondary … Was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a pitcher in the 37th round of the 1993 amateur baseball draft and again by the California Angels in the 44th round of the 1996 amateur baseball draft.

Youngest of Richard and Cheryl Shaw's four children …A public relations major …Played on the Canadian senior national team during the summer of 1996 … That team was 9-1 and won the prestigious Jones Cup in Taiwan … He averaged 7.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 10 games … Shaw is one of four players have worn the number 34 at Marquette since the 1962-63 season. Shaw is the only one who was not drafted by an NBA team.
