-==== Marquette Career ====
-Junior Cadougan gave an oral commitment to the Marquette Golden Eagles on July 6, 2008. He chose MU over Memphis, Wake Forest and Louisiana Tech, and also had scholarship offers earlier in the recruiting process from the likes of Louisville, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas and USC.

-==== High School Career ====
-Cadougan, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound Toronto native, averaged around 21 points, eight assists and three steals per game last season at Christian Life Center Academy in Humble, Texas before breaking his foot in December.

-Junior Cadougan (6-0, 2009):
-A really solid all-around player, Cardougan played as if he was still being recruited (he committed to Marquette last week). Immediately, you notice that he is a leader on the court. He is a little heavy in the upper body, but that just enables him to overpower smaller point guards and also allows him to get his shot off inside against bigger players. He does not mind contact at all, and finished several times despite getting fouled while going to the rim. He ran the pick-and-roll with Renardo Sidney exceptionally well, either dishing to Sidney or driving the ball to the basket himself. He does not make many mistakes, and seems very mature and calm while out on the court. Cadougan makes smart decisions with the ball and knows exactly what speed the game needs to be played at for his team to win. He is crafty and usually drives diagonally, which makes it difficult for defenders to stay in front of him. I do wonder how effective he is with his left hand, but he was so tough to stop with his right hand that it did not matter.

-Junior Cadougan 6’1, 190, PG, from Christian Life (TX), is a phenomenal player that was ranked top 5 as an 8th grader and is now ranked No. 37 for 2009. Cadougan is a strong point guard that it is compared to NBA’s great Baron Davis. Cadougan can really create off the dribble, possesses very good passing skills, and is a good three-point shooter who can finish in traffic. The young star was the starting Point Guard for the Canadian Junior National Team, was the 2nd youngest player to be invited to the Men’s National Training Camp at 14yrs old, was invited to ABCD camp as a rising Freshmen, has been invited to the NBA top 100 camp twice, and was featured in Slam Magazine (Stephan Marbury issue) in a 5 page spread. No wonder Cadougan is being highly recruited by Kansas, Memphis, Louisville, Texas, USC, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Marquette, LA Tech, and more.

-
-**June, 2008**: Cadougan provides new Marquette coach Buzz Williams (verbal) with a very solid point guard prospect. Cadougan has deceiving quickness for his frame, which he could improve by increasing his muscle tone. He relentlessly attacks off the dribble and puts pressure on opposing defenders by using his speed and physical style of play to initiate contact and get to the rim. Once in the paint, he usually looks to finish himself, but has the ability to find open teammates. His style of play and body type is reminiscent former Uconn point guard Khalid El-Amin. If Cadougan improves his play-making skills, physical conditioning, as well as his jumper, he could become a very nice point guard in the Big East.

-**December, 2007**: Cadougan has a body that resembles Nic Wise (Arizona) and his game is quite similar as well. He is a true point guard who can orchestrate an offense or create his own shot off the dribble. His body type allows him to finish plays against taller opponents and he can hang in the air with relative ease, despite his weight. His jump shot is solid out to the stripe, but his mid-range jump shot is more efficient. In addition, he's a very good rebounder, despite his size. Overall, I'm a bit concerned about his body (susceptible to weight gain) in terms of upside, but his savvy, skill and competitive nature should land him some mid-high range offers.

-Junior Cadougan is a strong and stocky point guard who is originally from Canada, but is now playing his high school ball in Houston. Cadougan has good vision for a point guard and he is an excellent playmaker. He can also score the ball and is a very good shooter. Unlike a lot of kids that come to the states from Canada, Cadougan has a good feel for the game as well. The biggest concern with him is his weight. He is a guy who must be monitored because there are times when you see him and he appears to be a step slow and heavy. His game certainly warrents attention, but Cadougan must make sure he stays in great shape and works on his body to help him compete at a high level.
