High School Career

Scored 1,129 points from 1959-62, including 469 points during his senior season. Named AP & UPI Catholic all-state as a senior and UPI Catholic second team as a junior.

Marquette Career

Flynn led Marquette in scoring during the 1963-64 season (17.3 ppg) and the 1964-65 season (16.5 ppg). He was also Marquette's leading rebounder during the 1963-63 season (10.2 rpg). Al McGuire named Flynn team captain for the 1965-66 season. Flynn currently ranks 20th all-time on Marquette's scoring list, with 1,282 career points and fifth all-time on Marquette's rebounding list, with 771 boards.
