Valley Fields

Marquette's Valley Fields offer 13.5-acres of outdoor recreation and sports in the Menomonee River Valley, about 800 yards south of the Helfaer Recreation Center. The $8 million complex includes a natural grass soccer field, which is home to Golden Eagles soccer. The Valley Fields also house an artificial turf field for intramurals, club sports and recreation. An eight-lane, 400-meter running track surrounds another artificial turf field, along with areas for field events such as long jump, triple jump, pole vault, shot put, discus and javelin.

Parking

Location and Visitor Parking Street address: 1818 W. Canal St.

Park in the 16th Street Structure (Structure 1). Parking also available at east end of V. Fields off of Canal St. Pedestrians can access the fields from the stair tower.

History

Valley Fields opened for practice and competition in 1994.

Gameday

For Men's and Women's Soccer games, regular ticket entry is located on the Southwest corner of the Valley Fields, next to the parking lot. Student Entrance is located inbetween the two soccer fields, 120 yards East of the ticket entry.

The athletics department offers a small setup with various Marquette Soccer merchandise. Also, a concession stand is on hand with hot dogs, hamburgers, and bratwurst among drinks and snacks.

For every Marquette goal, Marquette's Gold N. Eagle tosses Marquette Soccer shirts to the crowd. There are other various promotions and giveaways throughout the game.
