Four-year starter at Northmont High School … Northmont's career scoring (1,712 points) and three-point field goal percentage leader … Led the Greater Miami Valley Conference in scoring as a sophomore, junior and senior … An all-conference selection in each of those seasons … Leading scorer in the Dayton area as a senior with a 25.3 ppg average … Was named to the Dayton Daily News' all-area team three times … A three-time All-District 9 honoree and was the District Player of the Year in 1998 … An All-Ohio third team honoree following his senior season … Averaged 24.1 points and 8.9 rebounds as a junior … Coached by Jim Brown … Graduated 20th in his high school class of 386 with a 3.9 grade point average … Four-year member of the National Honor Society.
