ESPN Evaluation

July, 2008: He's a long armed, wiry wing player. Has good athletic ability. Excellent in transition. Can get to the rim because of his ability to knife through the defense or catch the lob and finish with a dunk. Handles the ball well. Plays with his head and eyes up looking for an opening to score or draw and kick. Has good body control to avoid charges and concentration to get the shot off. Can drive both ways but when he drives right he likes to spin back left and elevate in the lane for a jumper. Shoots the three off the catch but is very streaky. He shoots the ball with his arms extended high over his head on his jumper and he looks to have different release points. It looks like he shoots on the way down at times. Must continue to tune up his shot because opponents are going to start to play off him because of his ability to drive and slash. Needs to get stronger to prepare for the physical college game. Very good scoring wing that played well against good competition.
