High School Career

Named the 2005-06 class AAA Associated Press Pennsylvania Girls High School Player of the Year, while averaging 23.1 points, and 9.0 rebounds per game…Scored a school record 2,130 career points and a career high of 40 points against Susquahanna Valley…Led the Mid-Penn Conference in scoring both her junior and senior years…Member of the Penn-Big 15 three straight years.

Hill was unable to get into Marquette initially and enrolled at Kirkwood Community College.

Kirkwood Community College (IA) Career

Team with fellow Marquette recruit Lauren Thomas-Johnson to help lead Kirkwood to back-to-back NJCAA Tournament championships in 2007 and 2008…Was named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team in 2008…Earned NJCAA First-Team All-America honors as well as first team all-region accolades in 2008…Averaged 14.2 points and eight rebounds for the 2007-08 season…Shot 57.9 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free throw line…Was a second team all-conference selection for the 2006-07 season…Averaged 9.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, and shot 63.1 percent from the field and 69.8 percent from the free throw line during her rookie season.

Marquette Career

2008-09

Hill appeared in eight games for the Golden Eagles this season and averaged 3.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg and over 9.4 mpg. She played a season-high 14 minutes against Sacred Heart (Nov. 16) where she scored six points and added five rebounds. She scored a season high eight points at Western Michigan (Nov. 23).

In December 2008, Hill informed the coaching staff that she will leave the team for personal reasons. Head coach Terri Mitchell commented: “Bre has decided to leave Marquette and move on with her collegiate basketball career. We enjoyed her time here at Marquette and wish her the best of luck in her future.”

Daughter of Willie and Paula Hill…Has four siblings who range in age from 20-36…Majoring in communication studies.
