In the 2005-2006 season, Acker averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 31.7 minutes and started in all 28 games as a freshman at Ball State … was recognized for his outstanding play by being named to the Mid-American Conference All-Freshmen team as well as being named the league's rookie of the year … will sit out the 2006-07 season per NCAA transfer rules.
